After many quotes we were confident that Mick from Crystalclear Driveways was the right person to redesign and carry out our large project; which was to widen, renew and design the driveway and patio including replacing hedges with a wall, erecting fences and a gate, together with redesigning the old crazy paved rear patio and garden.
We weren't disappointed Mick and his very pleasant and courteous team turned up prompt at 8.30am as promised and we never looked back from then on. We even managed to get away for a weeks holiday leaving our house in very capable hands.
For the next five weeks we can truly say that we have enjoyed every day of this wonderful transformation. Every aspect of the job which Mick scheduled has been done with precision, commitment and attention to detail.
The preparation, excavation and removal of the old driveway and patio were left with little disruption to us both and at each close of day he always ensured that we had clean, tidy and accessible areas to walk on, and the public pathway was hosed down each evening; minimal dirt into the house so nice!
Throughout the process of construction Mick has worked to a very high standard of professionalism, technique and skills; his creativity and design in hard landscaping is exceptional and the results are phenomenal and beautiful, such excellent craftsmanship in our opinion. Following five quotes for our new drive we felt confident that Mick was 'the man for the job'. He did not tell us that he could not fulfill any of our ideas but if anything gave us some additional ideas.
The written quote was detailed, not just a summary of the planned work. Four whole days were spent on the dismantling of the old drive and preparation for the block paving. Mick worked incredibly hard and had four men working alongside him. The whole team were very pleasant. Throughout the work the area was kept tidy and cleared at the end of the day, even the road outside swept and washed down. We are utterly delighted with our new drive; as are our neighbours! We've had nothing but high praise from all who have seen it.
