Marshalls Tegula Driveway in WarringtonWe constructed
a new driveway for Andrew Chubby Chandler the famous golfing manager for Rory
McIlroy the US golf open championship winner 2011 and Darren Clarke the UK golf
open championship winner 2011, the driveway was constructed using Marshalls Tegula
traditional block paving with pennant grey border detail and Marshalls pennant
grey tegula kerbs
The
old driveway before the work commenced
Removing
the old driveway and excavating to a depth of 250mm
A
new gas supply was installed due to the old steel gas pipe leaking and was only
discovered when the old driveway was removed and a strong smell of gas was located
by the utility company
Excavating a trench for the new gas supply to
the house
Removing
the tarmac and locating the gas main in the pavement
Laying
the new gas pipe in the trench
Installing
a new gas meter and connecting the gas supply to the house
Leveling
the MOT Type 1 sub base and compacting in layers of no more than 75mm
Compacting
the second layer of MOT Type 1 sub base
In
corners and other areas where the vibrating plate can't gain access the MOT Type
1 is compacted using a hand held compactor
Screeding
the sand to the correct height and fall to dispurse any surface rainwater
Laying
the Marshalls Tegula traditional driveway
The
sand screed off and ready to continue laying the tegula driveway
The
finished driveway including making good the tarmac on the pavement

A
new block paving man hole cover was installed
Tegula

New
drainage channel to remove the surface rain water off the driveway

pebbles to compliment the new Marshalls Tegula Driveway
A
circle was constructed around the base of the tree using tegula pennant grey small
blocks cut to shape
The
existing lawn was removed and replaced with decorative pebbles laid on a geotextile
membrane
